This post about spending a whole career building passive income is making the rounds. What I find curious is that it doesn’t mention what I think is the main reason most people want it in the first place.
The freedom to choose your hardships.
Not fewer problems. Just more say over which ones you take on. You still mow the grass. You still do the uncomfortable thing. But you do it on your own terms, not because the alternative is not paying rent.
